Dr. Jacqueline Pevny, MD has decades of experience in psychiatry and has dedicated her career to supporting individuals facing mental health and substance use challenges. She has held medical director positions at several prominent treatment facilities across South Florida and remains active in hospital leadership and clinical roles at two respected area hospitals. In addition, she contributes to medical education as an affiliate associate clinical professor at Florida Atlantic University’s School of Medicine.
Dr. Pevny earned her medical degree with honors from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She went on to complete both her residency and fellowship training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York. A fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, Dr. Pevny is board-certified in general and geriatric psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, as well as board-certified in addiction medicine by the American Board of Addiction Medicine.
