Lisa Di Fiori serves as Executive Director of Comprehensive Wellness Centers (CWC), where she has been an integral part of the organization’s leadership and growth since joining the team in early 2017.
Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, Lisa began her professional career at just 17 years old in the banking industry. Over the next 14 years, she built an extensive background in banking and finance, holding numerous positions in operations and management and steadily advancing into leadership roles. Looking for a new challenge and a change of scenery, Lisa eventually traded Chicago winters for South Florida and began the next chapter of her career in behavioral healthcare.
Lisa joined CWC as Operations Manager and quickly became deeply involved in virtually every aspect of the organization. Over the years, her role expanded alongside CWC, progressing through operational leadership and ultimately into her current role as Executive Director. Her experience encompasses organizational operations, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resources, revenue cycle, information technology, facilities, program development, and strategic planning.
As Executive Director, Lisa provides strategic and operational leadership across CWC and works closely with the organization’s clinical, medical, nursing, administrative, and operational leaders. Her focus is on maintaining the strong infrastructure necessary to support quality patient care while ensuring CWC continues to operate responsibly, efficiently, and in accordance with the high standards expected of a behavioral healthcare organization.
Despite CWC’s growth over the years, one thing Lisa believes has never changed: its people are its greatest strength. She credits the dedication of CWC’s clinical, medical, nursing, and administrative teams with creating the culture that makes the organization special. Her leadership philosophy reflects the same sentiment she has shared throughout her years at CWC: “We’re not fancy, we’re family, and we’re here to help.”
Outside of CWC, Lisa’s favorite place is usually wherever family, friends, and good food come together. Growing up around her family’s restaurant in Illinois helped foster her love of cooking and entertaining, and when she isn’t in the kitchen preparing a meal for the people she loves, you can often find her enjoying the South Florida sunshine—preferably at the beach with a good book.
