At Comprehensive Wellness Centers of Lantana, a south Florida treatment center, we take a complete approach to drug and alcohol addiction. The road to recovery is a journey, and we’ve found tremendous success with treating the whole patient, mind, body and soul. Each phase of the treatment plan is designed based on what’s best for the individual.
Almost all drug and alcohol addicts require a phase of detoxification, or detox, at the start of rehabilitation. Detox is designed to remove all traces of drugs and alcohol from the body. CWC Florida rehab center wants the patient to be as comfortable as possible during this difficult time. Although at CWC we do not provide detox services, we are more than happy to provide you with a list of ethical and highly qualified options. Our concern is always for the patient’s safety and comfort.
While participating in an inpatient or residential program, patients live at the treatment facility or associated housing among others in the program. Patients reside with the treatment facility for various lengths of time. Some programs last 30 days while others last several months. Typically, the length of treatment depends on a person’s individual needs. For example, people with severe addictions, mental health conditions, or a history of relapse may remain in treatment longer than others.
Partial Hospitalization – PHP
Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is a more flexible version of inpatient treatment that has all of the benefits of our residential program and serves as a compassionate and caring bridge between inpatient and outpatient treatment. We develop individualized plans that focus on behavioral therapy, counseling and education to target the root of the issue and prevent relapse. Our approach includes 12-Step Program, Motivational Interviewing, SMART Recovery, Holistic Therapy, Art Therapy, DBT & CBT, Group and Family Therapy and EMDR for Trauma.
Intensive Outpatient – IOP
Our goal is to help patients transition back to meaningful lives. During intensive outpatient treatment, patients attend treatment but live at home and in the community. They learn how to transition from the safety and comfort of full-time treatment to the new experience of partial treatment. Patients may choose to reenter the workforce, go back to school, volunteer or some other path to integrate back into life. Whatever the goals may be, CWC Treatment Center will encourage, support and guide every step of the way.
Alumni & Family Services
Our services support and strengthen the capacity for children, families and former CWC patients to navigate difficult times. Our professional staff helps individuals and families resolve crises, enrich family functioning, enhance parenting and help manage unexpected life events. Treatment is available for individuals, couples or families struggling with a variety of concerns and worries, and the therapy is tailored to meet those needs.
Life Skills and Training
Finding a job after rehab is tough, especially when the addiction may have been the driving reason the addict lost work, couldn’t hold a job or was chronically unemployed. Our team is experienced in career coaching. Their job is to help recovering alcoholics and addicts start a job search, to create or revise a resume, enroll in continuing education courses, prepare for interviews and more.
