Gabriel Peña, M.Ed., Ed.S. - Primary Therapist
Gabriel Peña, M.Ed., Ed.S., is a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with the state of Florida. He earned both his Masters of Education and Education Specialist degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Atlantic University. He has spent his career working with individuals struggling with addiction and other co-occurring disorders.
Gabriel specializes in working with the LGBTQ+ community. His passion for the clinical mental health field is driven by his research interests in the therapeutic alliance. His approach with clients is relationship-focused and strength-based. He utilizes a variety of counseling approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Adlerian Therapy. He works to dismantle the narrative often set in place by labels and diagnoses, and aims to assist the client in maintaining long-term sobriety.
