Primary Therapist

Bailee Young is a Registered Clinical Social Work Intern with a profound commitment to helping individuals navigate complex mental health challenges. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Central Washington University and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. With over four years of experience in the mental health field, Bailee brings a diverse skill set and a wealth of experience working with a range of populations. Bailee began her career in the mental health field as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children on the autism spectrum. During this time, she worked toward earning her Master’s in Social Work, which set the foundation for her transition into therapeutic roles. Baileeā€™s passion for mental health was further fueled by her work on a dual-diagnosis crisis stabilization unit, where she developed a deep understanding of the needs of high-acuity mental health populations.

As a therapist, Bailee has worked in both outpatient and forensic settings, offering services to individuals struggling with substance use disorders and severe, persistent mental health diagnoses. She has experience working within the Mental Health Court system, where she supported individuals found not guilty by reason of insanity or deemed incompetent to stand trial. This work has given her a unique perspective and the ability to navigate complex legal and therapeutic challenges with sensitivity and care. Bailee approaches therapy from a client-centered perspective, meeting each individual where they are and tailoring treatment plans to meet their specific needs and comfort levels. She incorporates evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy into her practice, ensuring that her work is always trauma-informed and strengths-based. Bailee is dedicated to empowering her clients and helping them build resilience through the therapeutic process. In the coming months, Bailee will be expanding her skill set to include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, allowing her to further support those impacted by trauma.
